We are currently heading to a view wet and cold days in Cape Town. By Sunday the weather is clearing and the conditions will be good for racing.
On Sunday the winds are easterly and that is a predicted headwind for the pigeons, the temperatures are not that warm and it should be an ideal day for racing.
This 4th and final race of the sprint series will be from a distance of 250 km.
At this stage it is really a very close race and anything can happen on the day. This series has been interesting in the fact that a pigeon cannot afford to make one mistake as then it is out of the averages.
The birds that are doing well have been front packers all the way and trapped well.
Please feel free to join us at the lofts on Sunday to await the arrival of the birds.
After the conclusion of the sprint series we will proceed to gather the entrants for the 2 longer races which will take place after a 1 week rest period.
We have sent out all invoices and if you are unsure of anything regarding your account please contact me at Robert@benzing.co.za or call me on 083 407 5249.
For the old bird series we will send out the invoices next week.
Good luck to everyone and thank you for supporting Klapmuts Lofts.
