Young Bird Update
Time is running out with only 2 weeks left to get your champions shipped to the Hoosier Classic Million Dollar Race. With flights cut and tails pulled flying has slowed down as we expected. We have had so much rain that the birds loft exercise time has been changing daily around the rain storms.
Thomas Zimmerman from Benzing will be here this week to help us dial in our clocking system. Our goal is not to miss a bird when clocking and Thomas is the man who can make that happen. Once we run a few tests we will post another inventory Thursday or Friday. If it looks like you are missing a bird now is the time to send in your replacements.
Old Bird Update
Rain has really stifled the start of the Old Bird Racing. We were hoping this rain would clear out today. We have a partly cloudy forecast at home tomorrow, but storms at the release point. Wednesday is the next best day. There will be a 8-10 mph head wind with sunny skies. The birds have been loft flown when we have a gap in the rain and they are ready to race! There is still time to call and enter your old birds for prizes with several different options.
