2nd Race from Mthatha 305km scheduled for tomorrow the 19th June 2022.
Basketting all done.
Few pointers;
1. 723 birds basketted thus 25% to obtain points. Thus first 181 birds to get points.
First bird 214 points and 181st bird to get 34 points.
2. Knockout cut off is 362nd.
3. Birds withdrawn from race

4. Liberation scheduled for between 7.30 and 8am. Weather permitting.
5 Weather seems to have remained stable as forecast previously posted above. Temperature coolish overcast with a moderate SW headwind towards home.

Birds liberated at 7.30am. Partially overcast weather. Virtually windless sligthly warmer than initial predictions but all fine.
At home still a W to SW headwind predicted.
Could be an interesting race.
