Allflight Summer race club competition

28th Aug 2018 by Ben

I often get asked why is the summer race so expensive, simple reason the
international fanciers are not going to send their “champions” to come and
race for R50 000 prize money as it is just too expensive to get the pigeons
here, we now have pigeons on the way from Europe to take part in the
International summer race to be held early February 2019 and the cost per
pigeon will almost be R1500 just to get them here after transport,
quarantine etc. so sending a team of 5 costs them about R15 000 then only 1
is entered so yes we have to make it expensive in order to attract them but
we always have a plan for the local fanciers who wants to also race the
summer race to test their pigeons in those conditions but cannot afford the
R7500 per pigeon entry fees.

Here is a proposal for you to have a look at and to let me know if you would be interested to take part in the summer club series. Entrance dates will be from now till end of September 2018.
Please have a look and let me know if you would be interested in the
proposal before I advertise it. Please note this will be a separate
competition and none of these pigeons will be eligible to take part in the
R7500 summer race. On the last race they will be liberated 30minutes after
the Summer Race pigeons as well.

Regards
Herman
